Lucille lived a full life to the age of 98. She graduated from Sebeka High School in Minnesota and then went on to graduate from college in Bemidji, MN, becoming a teacher of a classroom of 1st – 8th grade in a one room school house.
Lucille married Kenneth Gumto and they had 5 children; Jack, Jim, Mary Jane, Bob and Bill. They raised their children on the North Shore. Lucille loved doing crossword puzzles and coloring books for adults, which kept her active.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Clara and John Steinkraus, her brother Willie and sister Joan, husband Kenneth, sons Jack and Jim, and son-in-law Shovel.
Lucille is survived and will be so missed by her daughter Mary Jane, sons, Bob (Natalie) and Bill; and grandchildren, Nikki, Tara, Amber, Jason (Courtney), Chastity, Randi (Mark), Roni (Jason), Garrett, Darrin, and Breann (Todd). She had many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
