DANIEL P. “BUDDHA” LUSK (August 20, 1950- August 15, 2024)

Daniel P. “Buddha” Lusk, 73, Two Harbors, died Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Essentia Health in Duluth.

Dan was born August 20, 1950 in Duluth to Donald “Red” and Selma “Sally” (Hag­berg) Lusk.

He grew up in Knife River and Two Har­bors and after graduating from high school in 1968 enlisted in the US Navy. After his service, Dan returned to Two Harbors and was employed as a laborer in the construc­tion industry, his favorite project to work on was the Silver Cliff Tunnel.

Buddha was a member of the Laborers In­ternational Union Local # 1091, Loyal Or­der of Moose, and American Legion.

He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with friends. He will be missed for his unique and a infectious laugh.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Kelly; a niece Sally Lusk; great-niece, Veda Swan­ton; and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Lakev­iew Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at the American Legion. To share a memory or leave an online condolence visit www.cavallinfuneralhome.com.
