In regards to the “Winning Back a Pro- Birth Culture” notice in the 10/13 edition of the Journal.
Falsehoods, even as a rhetorical device, is the least effective way of winning an argument. This would be apparent to anyone who read the article so I won’t reiterate them here.
It’s my hope that Parker, the esteemed Director of MN Citizens Concerned for Life, will address some of the following premises implied but not stated in Schleeters article.
- 1 The age of the woman seeking abortion.
- Was the pregnancy a result of rape.
- Was the pregnancy a result of incest.
- Is the woman impoverished?
- Does she not want children at this time?
- Is the woman’s physical or emotional health at stake.
- Has the pregnancy resulted in fetal anomalies?
- The gestational age, weeks, trimesters.
Nothing is “Quite Simply” in Minnesota law or otherwise.
