March 14, 1954 – May 15, 2026
Robert (Bob) Dale Jensen, aka Azmo, age 72, of Finland, Minnesota, passed away at home, peacefully in his sleep on May 15, 2026.
Bob was born on March 14, 1954, on a military base in Barstow, California, to Esther Randall and Wesley James Jensen before the family moved to Minnesota. After a couple of short years in Silver Bay, MN, he and his brother, Ronnie, were raised in Finland, MN, where Bob built lifelong friendships and a deep connection to the community he always called home.
Bob attended the Finland school and went on to graduate from William Kelley High School in Silver Bay, MN. Bob had three boys: Kyler, Brady, and Jordy. He worked at Reserve Mining in Silver Bay, retiring in 2012. He was a hardworking man.
When he wasn’t working, Bob could often be found outside on his property gardening, landscaping, or working on one of his many projects with country music playing in the background. He enjoyed keeping busy and making improvements around the home. Bob was also a dedicated Minnesota Vikings fan and rarely missed a game.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Wesley James Jensen; his brother, Ronnie, and his loyal companion dog, Cody.
He is survived by his three sons, Kyler, Brady, and Jordy (Randee); and his 4 grandchildren, Leopold, Alexxis, Isaiah, and Elena; as well as many friends.
Though Azmo is no longer with us, the love, laughter, and countless memories he created will remain with those who knew him best. A celebration of life for Bob will be held later in the summer.
