Paul H. Kolojeski, 89, passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Duluth, Minnesota, to Bruno and Ruth Kolojeski, Paul grew up alongside his two brothers, Robert and Roger. Although born in Duluth, he spent most of his life in Silver Bay, Minnesota, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and the simple joys he loved.
Paul worked as an electrician for most of his life and took great pride in his work. When he wasn’t working, he could often be found on the dance floor, playing his accordion, or enjoying time with his family. His kind spirit, warm smile, and love for those closest to him will be deeply missed.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Katy; his children, Lynn, Dale, and Dave; and his three grandchildren, Josh (Jessie), Bethany, and Caleb. Josh and Jessie are joyfully awaiting the adoption of five children, a blessing Paul was thrilled to see become part of his family’s story.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown, MN 55811.
