Arnie Piirainen, 64, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home.
Arnie was born May 26, 1958 to Elias and Elsa (Ahonen) Piirainen in Two Harbors, where he grew up and attended schoool. After graduating from high school in 1976, Arnie attended vocational school. He was employed as a draftsman for Larson Boats in Little Falls for a number of years, until returning to Two Harbors, where he worked for BuiltRite Manufacturing.
Arnie was a member of Two Harbors Jaycees and Remote Control Scale-Model Airplane Club of America for a number of years.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting as long as his health allowed.
Arnie was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert.
He is survived by his son, Lee (Britt) Piirainen; and a brother, Ray (Sally) Piirainen and their families; and grandchildren.
Services have been held. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery.
