NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAND USE ORDINANCE OF LAKE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.

Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commission­ers on March 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM, in the Law Enforcement Center; 613 3rd Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportu­nity to discuss the granting of the following request:

In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow for the addition of a deck and sunroom to a legally nonconforming cabin that is located on a bluff and within the shoreline setback and to allow an existing unpermitted deck to remain (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, Article 7, Section 7.03-Part A). The property in question is located at 426 Buck View Rd., Ely MN 55731 and is legally de­scribed as: 0.16 acres out of Gov. Lot 1 and 6.44 acres out of NW ¼ of NE ¼ as describe in BK 138 of Deeds PG 49, Section 29, Township 63, Range 11, 6.6 acres, zoned shoreland R-R/Residential-Recreational District, one-acre minimum, Fall Lake Township. PID: 28-6311-29015.
