NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAND USE ORDINANCE OF LAKE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.

Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on February 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM, in the Law Enforcement Center, 613 Third Avenue, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:

In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from the water-oriented accessory structure setback for an after-the-fact fish cleaning covered deck and relief from the shoreline structure setback for after-the-fact structures including a sauna, kayak shed, firewood storage, and porch addition to a nonconforming cabin along with a proposed addition to the nonconforming cabin (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, Article 7, Section 7.03A and 7.12) at 304 Browns Lake W, Ely MN. The property is legally described as Government Lot 3, Section 08, Township 63, Range 11W; 9.0 acres, zoned shoreland R-R/Residential- Recreational District, one-acre minimum, Fall Lake Township. PID: 28-6311-08430.
