Mary Lou Johnson, age 76, of Two Harbors, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, following a courageous three-year journey with lung cancer.
Mary Lou is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, David “Benna” Johnson; her daughters, Gina (Scott) Kleive and Patti (Paul) Johnson; her sister, Sally (Alan) Walstad; her five cherished grandchildren Kalei Kleive, Parker Kleive, Devin Kleive, Keith (Destiney) Johnson, and Kyle Johnson; and many beloved family members, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn and Clyde Hedin, and her sister, Julie Ann Hedin.
A visitation starting at 10:00AM with the service at 11:00AM, celebrating Mary Lou’s life, will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors on Saturday, August 8.
