Wayne B. Johnson, age 84, of Two Harbors, MN, passed peacefully at home on April 23, 2026.
Wayne was born on December 7, 1941, in Hammond, IN, to Walter and Mamie Johnson. He dedicated 50 years to the postal service. Wayne had a deep love for the outdoors, especially deer hunting in northern MN. A passion he cherished throughout his life.
He is survived by his adoring wife of 63 years Linda (Donovan) Johnson; his daughter, Brenda (Rod) Syck; grandchildren, Matthew (Robin) Pavelka, Kai, Keelan, and Ayla Syck, Nickole (Darren) Dahl, Jimmy (Savannah) Caspersen, and Casey (Gary) Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mamie Johnson, and his children Catherine Caspersen and Bryon Johnson.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Saturday May 9th, 2026, at 11:00am at Living Waters Fellowship, 501 7th Ave, Two Harbors MN, with a luncheon to follow.
Wayne’s legacy of faith, laughter, and love for the outdoors and his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
