On Saturday, October 21st, Don Parker, Legislative Director of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL), the preeminent pro-life organization in Minnesota, will present an address on how Minnesota can win back a pro-life culture. Don will open his presentation by explaining “where we are now” after the 2023 control of both houses of the MN legislature and the governorship enabled Minnesota Democrats to enact unprecedented legislation that shocks most Minnesotans. Quite simply, Minnesota law now not only allows abortion right up until the moment of birth, it makes it possible for doctors to let newborn babies die! The 2023 law doesn’t just apply specifically to babies who survive abortion, but rather to all babies who are born alive. Babies born with disabilities, whose lives are often de-valued, could be especially at risk.
Although the situation in MN is dire, Don offers hope for the future by showing how other states have influenced public opinion and changed their abortion policies to pro-life. Don thinks we can win! He will show us how we can win back a culture in Minnesota that values human life.
Join us to hear Don at the Two Harbors Community Center, 417 South Ave, at 1:00 pm on October 21st.
