Thomas Owens Park Bandshell, Waterfront Dr. & 3rd Ave, Two Harbors MN, 55616. In case of rain, the concert will be at the United Church of Two Harbors, right across 3rd Ave. from the park. Bring your own lawn chair and your own refreshments and bring your friends and family too.
On Sunday, August 27th, Shane Nelson of Superior will open with early greeting music beginning at 2:50 pm. Then Shane will introduce the new Shane Nelson Band which includes Ron Koivisto and Maxi Childs. Also from Superior, the young, energetic rock band Born Too Late will follow. Count on an encore, so it’ll likely go past 5. Two Harbors Federal Credit Union will be there with free ice cream treats.
The final “Catch The Wave” Freewill Community Concert of 2023 will be at the same time and place on Sunday, September 3rd.
Two Harbors’ very own Marty & Beth will open and the Duluth Band Indecent Proposal will rock us though the afternoon with their original songs and some great classic and modern rock favorites.
Also, Community Partners of Two Harbors will be there with free ice cream treats. All are welcome!
This is an outreach event to benefit KTWH, the non-profit, non-commercial, volunteer driven, community and listener supported Two Harbors Community Radio.
