Vernon Eric Erickson, age 81 of New Market, TN, formerly of (Larsmont Township) Two Harbors, MN passed away on May 16, 2023 at Jefferson City Health & Rehab in Jefferson City, TN.
Vernon was born on April 1, 1942 in (Larsmont Township) Two Harbors, MN to Saxoni and Ruth (Hagen) Erickson. He grew up in Larsmont Township and graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1960.
Vernon served in the U.S. Navy, and moved to Shakopee to work for CertainTeed for a majority of his career.
Vernon enjoyed fishing, boating, and visiting with relatives and friends. Mostly, Vernon loved seeing his grandson Marshall when he was able or talking with him on the phone.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Eric (Shawn) Erickson of LeCenter, MN; grandson, Marshall Erickson of Jordan, MN; sister, Phyllis Erickson of Shakopee, MN; niece, Joyanne (Terry) Newgard of Shakopee, MN; nephew, Jimmy (Kaitlyn) Dressen of Belle Plaine, MN; nephew, Jeremy Erickson of Burnsville, MN; great-niece, Amber (Josh) & (Leina) Cunningham and several great-nephews, great-nieces & friends.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Saxoni and Ruth Erickson; sister, Lorraine Erickson-Dressen; and nephew, Jon Dressen.
