Sharon Louise Larson, 82, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday, January 29, 2025 surrounded by her family at Ecumen Lakeshore in Duluth.
Sharon was born February 9, 1942 to John and Mildred (Berg) Anderson in Burbank, California, and grew up in Duluth. She graduated from Denfeld High School in 1960 and as a young lady worked at Bridgeman’s in West Duluth for several years. In 1962 Sharon married Milton Larson and they moved to Two Harbors in 1965. She assisted Milton in the office at Northshore Steel for many years.
Sharon was a very active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, and women’s synodical organization, teaching Sunday School, and as a confirmation leader. She was also a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital and the Salvation Army for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and boating.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Carol Anderson.
She is survived by her husband Milton; children, Daniel (Bobbi) Larson, Lori (Roger) McDannold, and David (Lynn) Larson; sisters, Donna Nelson and Wendy Anderson; special cousin, Ginny Berg; 6 grandchildren, Jenni (Nick), Alan (Amy), Sara (Garin), Jon (Kate), Jada, and Riley; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judi Wunch; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
