Paul Clayton Dugas of Little Marais, MN came into this world on 10/22/1955 and he left this world on 8/28/2025 at the age of 69. As a young man he sang in a band and continued to sing and create music, even in his last days. The Big Lake was more than a lake for him; it was his home. He saw beauty in everything and created artwork with rocks, animals, wood, metal, paint and his plastic.
He loved anything he could modify, especially anything with a motor. He taught us to make anything work with whatever we had. Dad loved to look at things and figure out a way to “improve” them. All his friends and family house something that has been Paulified. He loved lights and sparkles, he was kind of a Flashy Guy.
Everyone who met Dad loved him. He had an amazing ability to let people be themselves and anyone he loved became part of his family. He was extremely proud of his 4 children and their accomplishments and loved watching his family grow.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Betty Dugas, Brothers Kenny, Robert and George. He is survived by his children Tera (Jason) Lysaker, Karla (Brad) Fagerland, Lisa (Gerrard) Fredrickson, Travis (Tessa) Dugas. 10 Grandchildren Skylar, Shannon, Shayna Lysaker.
