LINDA M. MOZZETTI (October 8, 1941 – November 10, 2023)

Yes, she was beautiful. Linda M. (Hill) Mozzetti passed away November 10, 2023 at the age of 82 after a lengthy illness. She was born October 8, 1941 in Fitchburg, MA to Martha and Eino Hill and was raised on their farm in Mt. Iron, MN.

Linda fell in love with and married Dick Mozzetti, moved to Silver Bay, and there they raised their four children – Cathy, Kim, Dan, and Sue. Drawing upon her Finnish Sisu,

Linda decided to learn archery and won several state and local competitions. She also painted dozens of amazing animal targets for the archery range. Linda moved back to the Range and enjoyed working for several different companies over the next few years, Precision Machine, Golden Boy Market, Max General’s, Irma’s Finland House, JC Penney, and as a home health aide.

Linda was always lovely, elegant, creative, artistic, a gifted decorator, inspiring us all to appreciate beautiful things, proud of her Finnish heritage, and so very proud of her children. She was much loved and will be greatly missed. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Eino Hill, her former husband Dick Mozzetti, and her granddaughter, Jenny Mozzetti.

She is survived by her children Cathy (Tom) Gustafson, Kim (Brian) Allar, Dan (Michele) Mozzetti, and Sue Evans; her brother Herb Hill, sisters Marilyn (Randy) Dimberio, Robin (Steve) Pankratz, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Thank you to the kind staff at Franciscan Health Center and Essentia Health Hospice for their care of our mom. Linda donated her body to Mayo Clinic Research.

The family will be having a private celebration of her life at a later date.
