Elise Mary LaVick, 63, Tofte, collapsed and died while walking in her yard on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Elise was born February 4, 1960, to Theodore and Grace Rehmann in Des Moines, Iowa, and grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating from the College of St. Benedict, she resided in the Twin Cities until moving to the family property on the North Shore in 2000. Elise was a dedicated customer service representative at Grand Marais State Bank until 2015.
She was an avid cross-country skier, bicyclist, and loved the outdoors.
Elise was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Mary Elise Millus.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory “Stick”; brother and sisters, Theodore (Ginger) Rehmann, Kathryn Rehmann, Anna Riegle, and Nancy (Paul) Millus; and sev-eral nieces and nephews.
