Allen C.Bartelt, born to Elmer & Olga (Selseth) on July 6, 1944, passed away peacefully on Oct. 20, 2025 at his home in Two Harbors, MN surrounded by his family.
Al grew up in Clarissa-Eagle Bend, MN area. He met and married his first wife Carlotta L. Hukriede in June of 1962, then moved to Duluth in 1964 where they were lucky enough to be blessed with 5 children.
In August 1994, Al married his current wife, Eldonna, and welcomed 2 step children into his family. Over the years, Al and Donna shared many cross country adventures. Al never rested from enjoying his many passions of hunting, fishing, camping, and his favorite SXS riding, but most of all, spending time with his family. Al spent many hours in his garage “Al-i-fying” any thing he could.
Al is survived by his wife, Eldonna; broth er, Elmer Jr; children, Terri (Tim) Christian son, Darlene Miller, Cheryl (Jerry) Ross, Shawn ( Ken) Dahlgren, Clark (Daisy) Bartelt, Craig (Melissa) Kolkin, and Dale (Shelia) Kolkin. Along with 25 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Olga, twin sisters Jane & Joyce, and grandson Christopher.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Nov.1, 2025 at 1 PM in Two Harbors at the Ross residence.
