On Monday, July 06, 2026, at 11:13 AM, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a body on the rocks at the bottom of the cliff at Palisade Head.
The body was recovered by the Sheriff’s Office and Rescue Squad personnel. The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Michael Morse of Duluth.
This case is still under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
