Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on May 11, 2026 at 2:00:00 PM, in the Law Enforcement Center; 613 3rd Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from the shoreline setback from a designated trout stream for an existing expansion to a nonconforming structure and to construct a deck (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12 Section 7.03A). The property in question is located at 2792 Drummond Grade, Two Harbors MN and is legally described as THAT PART OF NE1/4 OF SE1/4 LYING E OF THE CENTERLINE OF CO RD 131 in Sections 28 & 29, Township 54, Range 11; 36.96 acres; FR Forest Recreation, UT #2.
