Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on July 17, 2023 at 5:45 P.M. in the County Highway Dept Building, 1513 Hwy 2, Two Harbors, MN at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, an application for Interim Use permit application has been filed by the Nathan Kofstad, which, if approved, would allow for development a 28-acre gravel pit operation, to include crushing and screening of material, at the property located at 6775 Mountain Home Trail, Silver Bay MN and legally described as: SW-¼ of NE-¼ less the W-½ of NW- ¼; Section 18, Twp 57, Rge 6W; 35 acres, zoned shoreland (unnamed creek), FR/ Forest-Recreational; UT-1. PID 24-5706- 18130.
