NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAND USE ORDINANCE OF LAKE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.

Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commission­ers on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 1:00 P.M., in the County Highway Department Building; 1513 Hwy 2, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:

In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this re­quest, if approved, would allow relief from bluff setback requirements for an unper­mitted deck and to allow the unpermitted deck and garage to remain within the Ero­sion Hazard Area setback (Land Use Ordi­nance #12, Article 7.0, Sections 7.06 and 7.11). The request was filed by Mitch and Julie Blomquist for the property located at 1825 Cliff Point Road, Two Harbors MN 55616 and legally described as: The East 200ft of West 650ft Lying South of Centerline of US Hwy 61 of Government Lot 3; Section 22, Township 53, Range 10; 2.03 acres; zoned shoreland (Lake Superior), EHA #4, R-4/Residential; 2-acre minimum; Silver Creek Township; PID 29- 5310-22400.

APPLICANT: Mitch and Julie Blom­quist – V-23-004 – dated this 2nd day of June 2023.
