Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on November 09, 2026 at 2:00 PM, in the Law Enforcement Center; 613 3rd Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616, at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from the shoreline setback to add an addition to a nonconforming cabin (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12 Section 7.03(A)). The property in question is located at 156 Onigum Trail, Ely, MN 55731 and legally described as Lot Eleven (11), of “Onigum Bay Plat”, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles of Lake County, Minnesota. Excepting road easement in favor of Lots 9 and 10, Onigum Bay Flat. Except all minerals and mineral rights, and excepting and reserving power and telephone line right of way not less than 150 feet from the lake shore; 1.01 acres; zoned shoreland RR/Residential-Recreational (1-acre minimum) on Fall Lake (Recreational Development), Fall Lake.
