DULUTH, Minn. – On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 5 p.m., the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be holding an information meeting about construction occurring this year on Hwy 61 between Grand Marais and Grand Portage at the Hovland Town Hall (4957 East Highway 61. Hovland, MN 55606).
MnDOT will be replacing 6 culverts along Hwy 61 over the next two summers starting on May 19. Traffic at each location will be controlled by a temporary signal while work is occurring.
