Two Harbors, Minn. (8/18/2026) – Clover Valley Farm Trail (CVFT) is hosting the fourth annual Clover Valley Farm Fest at Agate Acres Farm and Events. This free and family-friendly event will be on August 30th from noon to 4 PM and is a community celebration hosted by the 12 farms of the CVFT.
“Clover Valley Farm Fest is really cool because it is a celebration of the northern Minnesota agrarian community,” said Emily Richey, who is a member of CVFT and has been hosting the festival on her farm with her partner Kyle Cook each year. “The community we have is strong, robust, and very collaborative. It shows off the small density of farms that are here in the Clover Valley area and what they are producing—which is everything from vegetables, fruits, flowers, meats, cheese, baked goods, wool, salves, other products, and everything in between.”
This event features local farmers’ market vendors from both the CVFT farmers and other farmers from the region. There will be local food producers, regional artisans, live music, food trucks, adult beverages, educational opportunities, demonstrations, and exciting activities for children and families, including the fire truck and a new dancing event never seen at the festival before. Everyone is welcome to the event.
“I support the farmers and all their efforts to bring fine food to our children, and it’s always a joy to celebrate with everyone who comes,” said Terrence Smith, a local community dance organizer. “I’m looking forward to sharing all the dances with the kiddos, and the Maypole dance will be a special one.”
The CVFT is a coalition of 12 farmers who support one another and collaborate to strengthen local food systems in the area of Clover Valley, which is an area located between Duluth and Two Harbors, MN. They coordinate on days to have their farm stands open so folks can drive along the farm trail, an experience akin to a farmer’s market on wheels. It is a close group of farmers who lift one another up and share with the community around them. The CVFT is open from May until the beginning of October on Sundays and Wednesdays from noon until 5 PM.
