The Third Annual Cook County Earth Day Fair is Set for April 20, 2024

The Cook County Local En­ergy Project (CCLEP) an­nounced that the third annual Cook County Earth Day Fair is set for April 20 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at ISD 166. The Fair aims to foster a fun family-friendly inclusive environment where the community can learn, col­laborate, and work collective­ly toward climate justice and sustainability in Cook County.

The event will feature educa­tional booths hosted by local and Minnesota organizations; topics such as renewable ener­gy, energy efficiency, sustain­able agriculture, waste man­agement, and more will be covered. A dynamic speakers series will run throughout the day, addressing crucial envi­ronmental issues and offering insights from local experts.

The Cook County Earth Day Fair is family-friendly and welcomes people of all ages. Attendees can enjoy children’s activities however, childcare will not be provided. Local food vendors will also be of­fering various lunch and snack options.

Non-profit organizations are welcome to host a booth at no charge, while a modest fee applies to for-profit entities. Interested parties can learn more about the event or apply for a booth by contacting the Cook County Local Energy Project at localenergy@boreal.org.
