An Evening Showcase of Art Coming to Silver Bay

Silver Bay Public Library and Tettegouche State Park collaborate to bring the second “Evening Showcase of Art in Silver Bay” featuring two artists in two exhibition receptions on one night.

(Silver Bay, MN) December 16, 2025 —Silver Bay Public Library and Tettegouche State Park announce an evening showcase of art, celebrating with receptions for two artists at their venues on Friday, January 2, 2026. Each location curates rotating art exhibitions, with receptions coinciding on the same day for the second time. Award-winning artist Eric Soderstrom works in digital art, among many other mediums including sculpture. Mythical creatures and fantasy scenes are some of his signature themes. He is the illustrator of the book “New Moon’s Family” by Erika L. Adams, which was a Midwest Book Award finalist in 2020, and won as a distinguished favorite in the NYC Big Book Award in the Children’s Educational category in 2021.

The art of Paul LaJeunesse is on exhibition for the month of January 2026 at Tettegouche Visitor Center. His artwork investigates the relationship among individual memories of time, space, and place as a way in which we assign meaning to experiences and construct our sense of identity.
