MnDOT to host visual quality public meeting in Two Harbors

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a visual quality public meeting for the Hwy 61 project through Two Harbors on Tuesday, May 21, at 5 p.m. in the Two Harbors Public Library, 320 Waterfront Dr. The purpose of this public meeting is to share information on the aesthetics aspect of the Hwy 61 project. There will be a brief presentation and time for questions about the project. There will also be display boards showing concepts with possible colors, textures, lighting, greenery, signage and more along the corridor.

Members of a visual quality committee have been brainstorming ideas and narrowing them down to create a vision for the Hwy 61 corridor. This meeting will give the public an opportunity to view the committee’s progress and to share feedback on the ideas presented.

For those unable to attend in person, please visit the project website for updated information.

MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print) for this email or event, please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720.
