[Two Harbors, MN] — Lake County is developing plans for a pavement resurfacing project on County State Aid Highway 2 (CSAH 2), scheduled for the 2026 construction season. Resurfacing work will occur between Reeves Road (UT 42) and Wales Road (CSAH 14).
CSAH 2 will remain open to all traffic during construction; travel delays of up to 10 minutes can be expected during active construction or daylight hours. Driveway access will remain open, except when impacted by adjacent paving or pavement removals; access restrictions are anticipated to last less than an hour each occurrence and occur a maximum of 4-6 days.
