Newly elected Lake County Commissioner Joe Baltich (District 1) was sworn in by Assistant Chief Judge Anne Rasmusson at the Lake County Courthouse on Monday, November 13, 2023. Baltich resides in Fall Lake Township and will fill the seat vacated by Pete Walsh who passed away in January.
The November 7th special election resulted in a 251-223 win over Jack Nelson. There were 79 write-ins.
