It’s been a whirlwind of a hockey season and it’s hard to believe it’s coming to a close. It’s been fun to watch the youngest of the athletes progress throughout the year. The time commitment for hockey players and their families is a bit intense, but many of them wouldn’t have it any other way. I would guess that a few might even feel a bit lost without hockey on their schedule.
Over the weekend, the Mite 1 teams from Two Harbors attended the Rocky Taconite Jamboree at the Rukavina Arena in Silver Bay. Each team played three games throughout the jamboree. According to Kiera Wilson, Mite team leader, “The kids played hard and had a great last weekend of the season.”
We can’t wait to see the current Mites advance next year and the new Mites sign up for a lifelong love of hockey.
A big thank you to Kiera Wilson, who has been a great collaborator throughout the season and has kept us up to date on what the Two Harbors Mites are up to. THANK YOU!
