The Harbor of Hope Project, Inc:

Bringing Hope, Healing, and Understanding to Our Community – Because no one should have to face addiction alone.

Addiction doesn’t just affect the person struggling with substance use. Addiction affects the entire community. Behind every person battling addiction is a story, and behind many of those stories are loved ones searching for answers, understanding, and hope.

The Harbor of Hope Project, Inc was created with a vision of bringing people together, breaking down barriers, and building a community rooted in compassion, education, connection, and understanding.

Our mission is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where individuals struggling with addiction, those in recovery, their families, friends, and community members can come together to find support, share experiences, gain understanding, and discover hope.

We believe that addiction is not simply an individual struggle. Its effects ripple through families and communities, often leaving people feeling isolated, helpless, ashamed, or misunderstood.

For those battling addiction, there can be overwhelming feelings of guilt, fear, and hopelessness. For family members and friends, there can be confusion, anger, heartbreak, and the constant question of how to help someone they love without losing themselves in the process.

The Harbor of Hope Project, Inc wants everyone to know that their experiences matter, their voices deserve to be heard, and they do not have to navigate these challenges alone.

Understanding addiction means recognizing the human being behind the struggle while encouraging accountability, healthy boundaries, and meaningful change.

Our goal is to help people understand addiction, develop healthier relationships, establish boundaries, and find strength through connection with others who understand what they are experiencing. Whether someone is actively struggling with addiction, celebrating years of sobriety, loving someone who is struggling, or grieving someone they have lost, we want them to know there is a place for them in this community.

Please join us. The 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm at the Harbor Theater. The next event is November 11, 2026.
