On Saturday, June 6 at 7 pm, Two Harbors Pride will host an exciting Pride Night at the Movies at Harbor Theater to FUNdraise for their upcoming pride festival!
“To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar” is the movie they are sponsoring to kick off Pride month in Two Harbors.
Following the Saturday evening screening, audience members will be treated to a FREE special refreshment break and photo op in the lobby, then back into the theater for an impromptu Audience Participation Fashion Show and a prize drawing! Organizers say they intend to play off the Strawberry Festival theme from the movie. Prize drawing entry qualifies with a donation of any amount.
About the movie: Three drag queens travel cross-country and their car breaks down, leaving them stranded in a small rural town. Starring Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo, and Wesley Snipes. Rated PG13. The film will also be available to the public on June 5.
