Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on December 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM, in the Law Enforcement Center; 613 3rd Ave, Two Harbors, MN 55616, at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Article 25 of Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, this request, if approved, would allow relief from the bluff and shoreline structure setback to construct an addition to a nonconforming cabin within the bluff impact zone (Land Use Ordinance #12, Article 7, Section 7.03A). The property in question is located at 4358 Hwy 61, Two Harbors, MN 55616 and legally described as Lot 8 of Govt Lot 1 in Section 27, Township 55, Range 8; 1 acre; zoned shoreland (Lake Superior), RC/Resort-Commercial District, 2 acre minimum, Beaver Bay Township.
