Rachael Sawner, a 36-year-old woman from Hutchinson, Wisconsin, has been missing since August 10th, 2024. Her last known locations include Douglas County, Carlton County, and Lake County. Her mother, Cheryl Kochie, along with family and friends, are urgently pleading with the public for any information regarding her possible whereabouts. They urge anyone with information to contact the Douglas County Law Enforcement Department.
Rachael, a devoted mother of two, stands at 5’4” and weighs around 120 pounds. She has dirty blond hair and blue eyes. Notably, she has two distinguishing tattoos: “Live, Laugh, Love” in a triangle on her back right shoulder, along with sheet music to “This Little Light of Mine” and two birthdates.
Sawner’s two children currently reside in New York with their father. Before returning to Wisconsin, Rachael was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pleasant Valley. Known for her talent in refurbishing furniture, she built a “Box of Hope” for the church. This initiative included an outdoor solar-powered pantry stocked with items that those in need often cannot buy with EBT cards. Pet supplies were also included, reflecting Rachael’s love for dogs.
The concern for Rachael’s safety intensified when she failed to reach out to her daughter on her recent birthday, an occasion she would never intentionally miss.
