Susan Louise MacDonald was born on November 27, 1949, in Duluth, MN, and passed away on January 15, 2025, in Minneapolis, MN. She was 75 years old.
Sue was a proud graduate of Two Harbors High School, class of 1967. She also graduated from Normandale Community College receiving an Associate of Arts degree.
Sue had a variety of jobs in her lifetime, including, but not limited to, the Two Harbors A&W, the Federal Government, and more than 30 years with the Minneapolis and Richfield Public Schools.
She cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in attending the sporting events of her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A devoted fan of the Washburn Millers and Richfield Spartans, the enthusiasm she had for supporting her loved ones was a hallmark of her life.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ruby MacDonald and her brother Steven. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Steven MacDonald Froemming and Anna Acosta Sanchez; her grandchildren, Isela Acosta Sanchez and Amoz Bray; her siblings, David (Jan), Mark (Natalie), Scott (Amy), Julie, Laurie, and James (Nan); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends who held a special place in her heart.
Sue’s warmth and dedication to family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched throughout her life.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 2:00pm, Hope Church 7132 Portland Avenue South, Richfield, MN 55423.
