Michael Marksmeier, 54, of Two Harbors, died suddenly on Monday, May 6, 2024, at work in Superior.
Mike was born on October 22, 1969, to Duane and Beverly (Carlson) Marksmeier in Two Harbors where he was a lifelong resident. After graduating from high school in 1988, he worked at various manufacturing businesses in Two Harbors until 2002, when he went to work at Dave Evans Transport.
Mike was a member of the NCMRA Club. He enjoyed mud racing, helping his children, spending time with his grandson, and lending a helping hand to his friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bobby Carlson.
He is survived by a son, Dana; a daughter, Shelby (Jacob) Dahlgren; a grandson, Gordon John Dahlgren; a sister, Brenda (Al) House; and a brother, Martin (Rose) Marksmeier.
