Jo Ann Marie May, 66, passed away on April 16, 2024, in Two Harbors, Minnesota. Jo Ann was born in Virginia, Minnesota, on December 4, 1957. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her brother, Glen Jackson; her father, Larry Jackson; and her husband and children’s father, Gary Moy.
She leaves behind her three sons, Shawn, Shane, and Steven, all from Washington; her parents, Sandie and Jerry Hostetter; her brother, Dennis (Norene) Jackson; her sister, Elaine Jackson (David Hagen); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her dear friend and caretaker, Michael Axtell.
Jo Ann was a very loving and caring person who enjoyed taking care of others. She fought a long, courageous battle with cancer.
