February 21, 1964 – December 23, 2025
Doug Harris, 61, of Duluth passed away on December 23, 2025 at St. Lukes hospital with his wife by his side after a terrible accident that had happened on November 17, 2025.
Doug was born on February 21, 1964 to Carol Harris and Donald Androsky in Superior, Wisconsin where he grew up and spent his time till he joined the army in 1982 to 1983. After he returned home, he spent his time in Superior, WI.
He worked as a cook for many years and when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed cooking at home, doing woodwork, helping out his family and friends and spending time with the love of his life, Laura. They met in Duluth and were married on July 23, 2010 in Superior, WI.
Doug is preceded in death by his mother Carol Harris.
He is survived by his wife Laura of 15 years; daughter, Amanda Parks and son, Kris Harris, both of Silver Bay, MN; step-daughters, Ashley, April, and Spring Johnson; sister, Carla Fugate of Milwaukee, WI; grandkids, Deynah, Lillie, Hunter, Matthew, Jace, Jaiden, Izayah, Zayden; Mother in Law, Harrit Saari; sister in laws, Vickie Raschke Meyers and Debbie SaariChampion; a special Uncle, Jeff Rantala; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at St. Luke’s for caring for Doug during this time.
A Celebration of Life will be January 25, 2026 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Mr. D’s Bar and Grill, 5622 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN 55807.
