Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to make a recommendation to the Lake County Board of Commissioners on August 19, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. in the Law Enforcement Center, 613 Third Avenue, Two Harbors, MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, an application for Interim Use has been filed by Franconia Minerals LLC, which, if approved, would allow for the development of a gravel pit that includes screening and pit run and is legally described as NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 in Section 25, Township 60, Range 10; 40 acres; zoned shoreland (Teamster Lake), FR/ Forest Recreation, 10 acre minimum; Stony River Township. PID: 20-6010- 25730.
