The Lake County Planning Commission sat in session at 5:00 p.m. on this date and conducted hearings and other business.

I-25-007r– Motion by B. Ernest sup­ported by Ellefson to recommend to Coun­ty Board 5-year approval with conditions of a renewal interim use application for a vacation rental home filed by Nathan & Angela Hoffman at 5997 Hwy 61, Silver Bay MN 55614. The property is described as: That part of Gov Lot 4 lying West of centerline of US Hwy No 61 in Section 36, Township 57, Range 7, 12 acres, zoned shoreland (North Shore Management Zone), RC/Resort Commercial District, 2 acre minimum, Beaver Bay Township. PID: 25- 5211-16756. Motion carried; Goutermont, Bathke, B. Ernest, and Ellefson voted in favor; none opposed. (PCR-25-010)

Motion by Ellefson supported B. Ernest to present draft SSTS Ordinance changes to a public hearing, date to be determined. Motion carried; Goutermont, Bathke, B. Ernest, and Ellefson voted in favor; none opposed.

Motion by Ellefson supported by B. Ernest to approve the April 21, 2025 minutes as submitted. Motion carried; Goutermont, Bathke, J. Ernest, B. Ernest, and Ellefson voted in favor; none opposed.
