V-23-001– Motion by Hoops supported by Brodigan to approve the request, with conditions, for relief from minimum lake-front feet, setback, and acreage requirements for an existing structure to be used as a guest house (Lake County Ordinance #12, Sections 7.06(c) and (d)). The request was filed by Dennis and Sharon Moen for the property located at 1450 Kane Lake Road, Two Harbors and legally described as: Outlots 3 and 4 of Gov’t Lot 5; Sec 30, Twp 56N, Rge 10W; 1.46 acres; zoned shoreland, R-R/Residential-Recreational, 1-acre minimum; Silver Creek Township. PID 29-5610-30924. Motion carried, Hoops and Brodigan voting in favor; Fogelberg recuses.
V-23-002– Motion by Fogelberg supported by Brodigan to approve the request, with conditions, for relief from size limit, outdoor lighting, and prohibited internal lighting requirements for on-premise signs (Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, Article 23, Sections 23.01(A), 23.03(E), and 23.05(A) filed by Leblanc Brothers for the property located at 6636 Highway 1, Finland and legally described as: the south 208.8 ft of the North 417.6 ft of the West 313.2 Ft of Parcel C as desc in doc A188837; Sec 20, Twp 57, Rge 7; 1.5 acres; zoned non-shoreland R-R/Residential-Recreational, 1.5-acre minimum; Crystal Bay Township. PID 27-5707-20155. Motion carried, Hoops, Fogelberg and Brodigan voting in favor; none opposed.
