CITY OF SILVER BAY PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CANNABIS MORATORIUM

The City Council has set a public hearing on September 16, 2024 beginning at 7:00pm to take comments on placing a moratorium on cannabis operations in the City of Silver Bay, until January 1, 2025 to allow the City time to study and plan for the appropriate zoning and regulations for operating a cannabis business to protect the health, safety, and welfare of City residents, as allowed and pursuant to Minn. Stat. Sec. 342.13. The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 7 Davis Dr., Silver Bay, MN 55614. Written comments will be accepted until 4:00pm on September 16, 2024 by mailing to the address above or emailing to lanaf@silverbay.com.
