After digging out of the March 12-13 snowstorm, the Lake Superior Community Theatre set construction crew dug into loading-in the set for its upcoming production of TRACKS, April 9th – 19th, on the William M. Kelley Auditorium Stage. Showtimes: April 9-11 & 17-18 @ 7:00 pm / April 12 & 19 @ 2:00 pm. Reserved seating is available @ tix.com or locally by calling Sue @ 218-220-9942. Lobby tickets will also be available for sale at the performance.
The set pictured (above) is the “clean” look before Prop Master John Kohlstedt added set pieces, sometimes purposely messy, all over scenic designer Ann Gumpper’s creation of a mysterious subway station in a mysterious location. Kelley tag artist Atlas Lincoln will work his magic on the walls of the set for pre-show audience members to watch.
The cast of 14 will wrestle with the deadly situation they are in, but with some dark humor and dance to lighten things up.
Audience members will be treated to an ice cream social free of charge, compliments of Zup’s of Silver Bay, in the lobby following the one-hour show.
