The North Shore PeeWee B1 team traveled to Hermantown last weekend to play some hockey in Hermantown’s PWB1 Tournament. The Storm first warmed things up on Saturday morning in their first game with a 4-1 win over Chisago Lakes. That evening they went on to play a game against Stillwater where they won again with a score of 9-4. Sunday morning the team battled in a game against Mahtomedi. Winning that game 6-4 placed them in the Championship Game against the top state-ranked Hermantown Hawks. The Storm beat the Hawks 6-1 to take home the 1st place Championship trophy! As the hockey season goes on, this team continues to progress and climb in the youth hockey hub state rankings. They are a fun group to watch so make sure to keep an eye out for some home games and come cheer these guys on, as well as all of the other Storm Hockey teams!
