This Tuesday, February 13th, the North Shore Storm Boys Hockey team will celebrate their seniors and their last home game of the regular season. Senior Night will take place at Rukavina Arena in Silver Bay at 6:00 PM during their game against the I-Falls (JV will play at 4:00 PM).
This year, the Storm will graduate six seniors: Captain Jake Stadler, Captain Zach Bentler, Tucker Cook, Andrew Wherman, Braylen Hoff, and Kip Jones.
Senior Night will coincide with Youth Night and all students wearing Storm gear can get into the games for free.
The team faced off against International Falls at the end of January. The game went into overtime and ended in a 2-2 tie.
All four goals in that game were scored in the last five minutes of the first period. Senior Jake Stadler scored the first goal with fellow senior Andrew Wehrman providing the assist. Stadler would assist Ayden Althaus in the next goal. Come to “the Ruk” to show support for the North Shore Storm boys hockey team and the seniors who have guided the team throughout the season.
