If the North Shore Storm Bantam hockey team’s performance is a glimpse into the future of the North Shore Storm Junior and Varsity teams, we can anticipate an unstoppable force on the horizon.
A couple weeks ago, the boy’s hockey team was featured in the Northshore Journal to report their success as double tournament champions. They had come out number one in both the Moose Lake Area Bantam Tournament and the Great Lake Skate held in Two Harbors. In a total of 8 games, only 3 goals were scored against the Storm.
At the recent Hayward Chiller Challenge, held in Hayward Wisconsin, they shut out all four of their games and took home the championship for their third tournament win. Yep. You read that right. They allowed no goals in the four games of the series.
Congratulations to the Bantam hockey team! Good luck with your next challenge at the Rocky Taconite Tournament in Silver Bay!
