Beer Release Party is Friday, November 22nd, 6-8pm and features live music and festivities
In 1896, a number of Two Harbors citizens began to work towards opening the Two Harbors Public Library with the goal of “counteracting the influence of 22 saloons in the village.” Today, the Library has come full circle and enjoys a robust partnership with Castle Danger Brewery. Through the brewery’s innovative Pints for a Cause program, the partnership is turning a new page.
Castle Danger Brewery describes its Pints for a Cause program as “another avenue to give back to our local community.” Thanks to this employee-driven program, money from every pint sold will be donated directly to the Friends of the Two Harbors Public Library. The Friends of the Library’s limited batch dark Czech lager will be available in the Castle Danger tap room beginning November 22.
“The support of the Friends of the Two Harbors Public Library is critical,” says Library Director Madeline Jarvis. “Their generosity enhances our programming, collection, and historic building. We are grateful that our Friends at Castle Danger will join us in celebrating the Friends!” Learn more about the Friends at the Beer Release Party Friday, November 22 6-8pm at Castle Danger Brewery. Donate $5 or more to the Friends and receive a BOGO beer deal from the brewery. There will be custom complimentary goodie bags for Friends members – and Friends memberships will be for sale at the door. Live music from John Cron will add to the evening’s entertainment.
