Tracks N Racks bar and restaurant on Highway 61 in Beaver Bay will hold a “Grand Re-opening” celebration on Friday, May 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Since taking over Tracks N Racks in February, the new owners, Isaac Giron and Natascha Zubarev, have been working hard. They’ve given the interior of the building a new look with barnboard paneling and modern furniture.
The menu has also transformed, with some signature drinks getting a new name and exciting additions like the Northern Lights, a gin and tonic theme with a colorful twist. Two versions of the iconic Bloody Mary are the Bloody Buck and Bloody Doe. The Buck will be more spicy, and the Doe is milder. They’ve replaced their hamburgers with smash burgers to keep with their business objective of having simple, consistent, and delicious food and drinks.
This is just a taste of what’s to come at the grand re-opening.
Giron and Zubarev are partners in Zenviva, which offers business management solutions to small businesses looking to grow. Giron has lived in Silver Bay for four years. He and Zubarev re-opened Zoe’s Pizza in Silver Bay this past February.
When asked about staffing, Zubarev says, “Our entire goal is to bring humanity back into business.” They are open and supportive of their employees.
“Loyalty goes both ways,” Zubarev said.
Tracks N Racks is open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week. “Our staff love those hours,” Zubarev said.
Plans are afoot to add community-oriented activities and events to the itinerary, such as a meat raffle, dance classes, and ladies’ nights. The two owners are working with Lovin’ Lake County to add live music nights.
“We’re all about community,” Zubarev said. “We want people, whether tourist or local, to feel at home and welcome at Tracks N Racks and Zoe’s.”
Zubarev and Giron are food service entrepreneurs. They look to expand along the North Shore in the coming months.
