Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 5:45 P.M. in the County Law Enforcement Center, 613 Third Avenue, Two Harbors MN 55616 at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, an application for an amendment to an existing Conditional Use Permit has been filed by The Harbors, LLC (agent: John Leupke). This amendment, if approved, would incorporate an adjacent parcel to allow for the installation of septic systems related to the operation of the “The Harbors” Resort. The property in question is located at 999 E. Bay Road, Two Harbors, MN 55616 and legally described as: that part of Gov’t Lot 3, Sec 11, Twp 52N, Rge 11W as desc in Doc A199216; 4 acres, R-4/Residential District, 2 ac min.; UT-2. PID 25-5211-11250.
